Helping catholic parishes in Eastern Europe is the most important activity of the Missionary Group “East”. It’s realized especially by organizing and leading holiday retreats for children and youth. In its history, the Group has helped priests working in the east by leading retreats in countries like: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. Following the charism of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, the Group wants to share the Gospel with most abandoned and poor people. Vacations with God organized for children and youth last for about a week and look familiar to summer camps. Each retreat has its own theme and consists of everyday mass, catechesis, various devotions, rest and joint recreation.
